Isuochi Kingdom Recognizes Otti’s Aide, Dr Chukwu For Advancing Community Development

 

The Paramount head of Isuochi Kingdom in Umunneochi LGA, Eze Dr G.I Ezekwesiri has conferred the chieftaincy title of “Ugochituberem 1”, (The Eagle Bestowed on Me by God) on the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process and Public Procurement, Dr Oluebube Chukwu in recognition of his contributions to the community.

 

The honour which was part of the activities marking the celebration of the New Yam Festival of the Isuochi people, also featured conferment of Chieftaincy titles to individuals who have made significant contributions to the community.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, the revered traditional ruler of Isuochi Kingdom, said the honour on Dr Chukwu is in recognition of his modest contributions towards advancing the cause of humanity, through the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF).

 

He lauded the Founder of the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF) for his unwavering commitment to humanitarian services which targets rural areas, marginalized individuals, and underserved communities.

Eze Ezekwesiri emphasized that the Chieftaincy title on Dr Chukwu is not merely an accolade but a testament his dedication to implementing people-oriented and developmental projects.

 

He said: “Your Foundation ‘s work spans multiple sectors, including health, environmental management and sustainability, education, economic empowerment, and infrastructural development.

 

“By providing free medical services, improving educational facilities, and offering skill acquisition programs, the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation has made tangible impacts on the lives of countless individuals including members of our community”.

 

Responding, Dr Chukwu expressed gratitude to the traditional ruler and the Ochi-in-Council for the recognition and honour bestowed on him as well as the support from his community.

 

Dr Chukwu who attributed his personal and professional development to the significant impact and connection of his hometown said, “If a place of origin were to be chosen again, l would still be a proud son of Isuochi, the values and lessons I have learned here have shaped my approach to life and service”.

He stated that the recognition by his people would renew his vigor and dedication to further contribute to the community’s development and well-being of individuals across the state.

 

While this recognition is deeply gratifying, it also comes with a renewed sense of responsibility. The title of UGOCHITUBEREM NKE MBU NA ISUOCHI is a call to continue and expand our work, addressing the pressing needs of our communities and exploring new avenues for development.
