ISUIKWUATO YOUTHS ENDORSE IKPEAZU’S SECOND TERM BID

Thousands of youths from Isuikwuato local government of Abia state have risen from a one million man rally to throw their weight behind the second term ambition of the state governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.

Receiving the youths who came under the agies of Ekwedasike Youth Movement, Isuikwuato Chapter, governor Ikpeazu urged the youths to enlightened the people in the grassroots to understand the importance of equity in the governance of the State.

The Governor, who spoke through his Executive Assistant, Elder John Nwangborogwu, restated his determination to revolutionised development of state by embarking on projects that have direct bearings on the lives of the people. He encouraged the youths to ensure that no one lure them into violence but ensure they promote peace and unity necessary for development of their area.

He thanked them for their solidarity visit to him which he described as commendable and urged them to ensure they not only got registered but also obtained their PVCs so as to vote for all PDP candidates in next year’s polls. In their various addresses, the coordinator of the movement, Mr. Chima Agbaze and a member of the group, Chinyere Apiaka said the essence of the One Million Man match was to arouse support for the reelection of governor and assured that they have no other governorship candidate to support in 2019 other than Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu.

They informed the governor that they have registered and obtained their PVCs for use to vote for the governor to reciprocate the good he was doing in the council.

The youths pointed out that their people were happy with revitalisation of the Isuikwuato water scheme, upgrading of their General hospital and award of Ogboro-Acha road and Ovim road as well as appointment of their indigenes to positions of authorities.
