Isiala Ngwa South Council, Vicar Hope, ABPHCDA Set To Organize Medical Outreach

In his avowed resolve to better the lives of indigenes and residents of Isiala Ngwa South Local Government, the Chairman of the council Comrade Ike Anyatonwu in collaboration with the Abia State Primary Health Care Development Agency and Vicar Hope Foundation has announced dates and venues for a Medical Outreach.

A statement signed by the Chairman Dr Chinagozi Adindu and Secretary of the Planning Committee Sir. Kelechi Ukaumunna reviewed that the Medical Outreach is slated to hold on Sunday 13th and Monday 14th at different locations and health centres in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area.

The statement further said the Medical Outreach is expected to cover all aspects of health care delivery, including diagnosis, treatment of ailments, eye care services, surgery, distribution of drugs, glasses, wheel chair, clutches, mosquito nets, among others, adding that the Flag Off ceremony of the program will take place on Sunday 13th February, 2022 at Umuosi Primary Health Centre with distribution of wheel chairs as part of its highlights.

They further say the Flag Off event will be preceded by Road Walk/Awareness Campaign to be led by the Executive Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Comrade Ike Anyatonwu at 7am while on Monday 14th February, 2022 at 8am, the Medical Outreach continues across the 10 political wards of Isiala Ngwa South in the following Primary Health Centres:

Ugba Primary Health Centre, Owerrinta Primary Health Centre, Obuba Nvosi Primary Health Centre, Eketa Primary Health Centre, Alaukwu Omoba Primary Health Centre.

Other centres include, Umuosi Primary Health Centre, Anya Mbutu Primary Health Centre, Africare Nkwo Udara, Umunkpeyi Primary Health Centre, Umuawa Primary Health Centre, Ngwama Ovungwu Primary Health Centre and Amaede Primary Health Centre.

The statement further urged indigenes and residents of Isiala Ngwa South to make use of this golden opportunity for health is wealth.
