IMAM PRAISES GOVERNOR OTTI’S ACHIEVEMENTS, URGES PEOPLE TO FEAR ALLAH

The Chief Imam of Aba Central Mosque, Bashiru Idris, has praised the administration of Governor Alex Otti for what he described as clear and visible development in the state over the past three years.

The Imam made this known in his office at the Aba Central Mosque while speaking with journalists. He said Aba has experienced great improvement in many areas such as roads, security, business, and religious harmony.

He also noted that the level of peace in Aba is very high compared to some other states facing security challenges. He encouraged residents of Abia State, especially Muslims living in Aba, to continue supporting the government so it can achieve even more.

Speaking on religion, the Imam explained that the month of Ramadan, which involves 30 days of fasting, is a time for spiritual growth. He said it helps Muslims to become closer to Allah and live in truth and holiness.

These include Onions Market, Tonimas Junction on Aba-Port Harcourt Road, Ngwa High School Osisioma, and Aba Central Mosque. He invited everyone in Aba to join the prayers at any location convenient for them.

Finally, the Imam assured both Muslims and non-Muslims of safety during the celebrations. He said security personnel have been deployed to ensure the protection of lives and property, adding that Aba is no longer a security hotspot.
