Ugochukwu Uchegbu Assures Constituents Of Effective Representation If Elected

 

The Umuahia Central State Constituency Aspirant in the 2023 forth coming elections, Pst Ugochukwu Uchegbu, has disclosed that if he is elected into the Abia House of Assembly, he will not only improve on the lives of his constituents, but will
introduce programs and projects that will favour them.

He stated that the welfare of his people would remain his priority, adding that he is usually pained when he sees his people suffer.

The Cleric in an interview with journalists when he stormed the PDP state secretariat to   obtain his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms, said he would wipe tears from the eyes of his people.

The aspirant who is also a per time pastor at the Living Faith Church, Ihie Ndume,Umuahia, disclosed that he joined the race, because his people needed change.

Stating how it all started, the cleric said  18 years ago,he received a message from God, showing him Politics and a Bible, adding that few months later, the revelation was confirmed with an appointment as the Supervisor for Works, Housing and Transport for Umuahia North Local Government Area.

Pst Ugochukwu also stated that the desire to bring positive change to the people of Umuahia Central, informed his decision to join the 2023 race.

He said he has done alot for his people, ranging from scholarship to supporting the less privilege, as well as contributing his quota towards the development of the area and as well, sustaining the existing peace.

The cleric noted that he would offer his best interms of quality
represention, stressing that he is ready to make laws that would affect his constituency positively.

He, however, maintained that he would introduce skill acquisition program to his people, which he said would make them self sufficient, thereby, eradicating unemployment among them.

“I went to school in hardship, so i can feel the pain of people who are poor. Am advocating for people to go and learn a skill, because If you have a good handwork,you will never be poor”.

Pst Ugochukwu Uchegbu, further urged the people of Umuahia Central, not to put their stomach first, especially on the issue of choosing who succeeds the current Speaker of the Abia House of Assembly, but ensure they choose wisely, calling on them to continue in their support to the PDP.
