Few months after sinking a reticulated borehole water and embarking on a medical mission to provide quality health care to the people of Amuro Ibere, Otuzo Autonomous Community in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, the Amarachi Care Foundation has renovated, retrofitted and furnished the dilapidated community primary healthcare centre with a functional medical and laboratory equipments.

Commissioning the primary healthcare centre today in Amuro Ibere Otuzo Autonomous Community, the mayor of Ikwuano LGA, Chief Osinachi Nwaka commended Amarachi care foundation for making quality health care accessible to the indigenes of the community.
Nwaka said that the foundation is a partner in progress and have acted in line with the vision of Governor Alex Otti’s resolve to revitalise the health sector in Abia state.
According to mayor Nwaka, ” on our own at the rural level, we will sustain this facility by sending qualified health care personnel to manage the facility”
“On the challenges occasioned by lack of access road to the community, I assure you while we will soon commence renovations of primary schools in this community, be confident that the administration led by Governor Alex Otti will reconstruct the Amawom-Nkalunta road” Nwaka further stated.

In his address, the Chairman of Amarachi Care Foundation Nigeria, Chief Chidi Hyacinth Kalu, said that the foundation’s goal is enshrined in saving life, serving humanity especially lifting the downtrodden out of poverty.
Chief Kalu explained that Amarachi Care Foundation being an offshoot of the Amarachi Human Care Incorporated Canada is an organisation whose major aim is to relieve poverty through rendering care to every human in need without prejudice.
“Our priority is to give hope to the hopeless and to save life”he said.

In his remarks, the coordinator of the foundation in Nigeria, Mr. Chukwuma Nduche, expressed that the primary objectives of the foundation as envisioned by the founders and enshrined in its constitution was to save life, touching humanity without boundaries, and also identifying community needs and work towards providing them.
The foundation also provides social amenities, distributes palliatives and advocates peaceful coexistence among communities in Nigeria.
In their goodwill messages, the traditional prime minister of Otuzo Autonomous Community, Chief Sunday Adum and the President General, Amuro Ibere community, Chief Oliver Aboaja commended the selfless services the foundation are rendering to communities in need.
They assured of the protection of the facilities in the health centre and other amenities being provided by the Amarachi Human Care Inc and Amarachi Care Foundation in Amuro community in particular and other locations in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries of the foundation’s free medical services, Mrs. Nneoma Emenike who spoke to journalists thanked the foundation for bringing succour to the community in the area of access to quality health care services.
The event witnessed dancing, cultural display to the admiration of all.
