The Executives of Ariaria International Market Security Officers Aba, in Abia State has paid a courtesy visit to the Wife of Abia Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, in her Government House Office in Umuahia the state capital.
Reasons for the visit, according to the leader of the security officers, CSO, Obichukwu Daniel, is to inform the Governor’s Wife about the ongoing reforms they have undertaken in the market and to assure her that the market is safe for all businesses without entertaining any fear.
“We are here also to pledge our support to the peace loving Governor of our dear state and at the same time request for a patrol vehicle and other security gadgets to enable us do our work effectively”. Obichukwu said.
In her remarks, DSP, Innocent Nwamaga, who represented the CSO, Government House Umuahia, Mr. Emeka Ubani, explain that the security outfit was set up to guide the market.
According to him, they have been doing well and I encourage them to Continue in their good work of safeguarding Ariaria International Market.
In her response, the Governor’s wife said it has become necessary that everyone join hand to secure live and property considering the security situation situation the country is currently undergoing.
According to her, I will always support you as you have been chosen to do your work efficiently. Work with unity of purpose to achieve your goals because Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, places premium on security of live and property.
