Ikpeazu To Anglican Women :we will work together for a better society

Wife of Abia Governor(c) with Anglican Women Ministry At Her Mini Conference Room, Government House, Umuahia. 

The wife of Abia State Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, has expressed her desire to be part of the biennial conference of the Church of Anglican Women Ministry.

Mrs. Ikpeazu, made her feelings known to newsmen when the women leaders of the church paid her a courtesy visit in her Government House office recently.

She expressed that women’s work in the church are enormous and needs encouragement.

According to her, “women are to pray for the church, our husband, the family and our children for God’s interventions in that we do “.

“I will attend your conference so that together we build a better society ” she said.

Earlier, the leader of the women and president Anglican Women Ministry, Mrs. Gospel  Ibeabuchi, said that they came because of the motherly role the Governor’s wife plays in the state.

According to her “if there is no women in the society, such society will suffer, our roles are to evangelise the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to save humanity.
