The wife of Abia Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, has celebrated the birthday of the Special Assistance to the Governor on women mobilisation, Mrs. Beauty Odikwa.
The celebration which took place at Umuobiakwa in Obingwa Local Government Area of the State was a fun filled one as friends, families and colleagues gathered at the country home of the Abia First Lady to wish the celebrant a healthy years ahead.
In her speech, the Governor’s wife described Mrs. Beauty Odikwa, as an able assistant who has been supportive and performs her duty well .
In their remarks, Mrs. Ukanwa Nwakanma, Lady Benedicta Enyinnaya, Mrs, Love Ezema, Dr. Kate Ndukuba, said it is a good thing to celebrate life and Nma is a beautiful soul and we pray she continue to be good.
Others who expressed their wishes for long life in good health were Lady Ndidi Cosmos Ndukwe, former peoples democratic party women leader in the state Mrs. Stella Igbokwe.
In a toast, the personal physician to the wife of the Governor, Dr. Sussy Nwachukwu, described Mrs. Beauty as a vibrant woman without pretense and a good cook.
She toast to the glory of God and enjoin all to wish her long life, good health and prosperity.
However, the celebrant Mrs. Beauty Odikwa states that she was overwhelmed and lack words to express the show of love by the wife of Abia Governor, and thanked all who have gathered to celebrate with her.
