Abia state governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has commended the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chibuzo Gift Chinyere for using his Ministry to compliment the efforts of various Governments in providing employment, health, education and infrastructural developments to the populace.
Dr Ikpeazu who made the commendation during the 46th birthday celebration of the General Overseer of OPM, Apostle Chibuzo Gift Chinyere and the 13th year anniversary of the Ministry held at the Doctor Jesus City, Bodu Aluu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State pointed out that by engaging in humanitarian services and spiritual uplift of the people including the indigent across the nation and beyond, the Reverend Minister has succeeded in giving succour and sense of belonging to them.
Represented by his Deputy Sir Ude Oko Chukwu appreciated God for what He Has been using the Abia born General Overseer and his members to do in the state and nation especially in praying for country and society which has contributed to the continued stability, sustainability and progress of both the state and nation at large, urging not to relent.
He used the forum to congratulate the celebrant on his 46th birthday and 13th year anniversary of his Ministry which he has used in making Abia proud through his spiritual exploits and accomplishments and prayed God to continue to grant him Grace and Wisdom to
succeed in his calling.
In their remarks, the Vice President of Liberia, Dr Jewel Howard Taylor and the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike represented by his Chief of Staff, Chief Emeka Woko said God can use an insignificant person and make something out of him for His use and appreciated God for the Wisdom and healing Grace granted to Apostle Chibuzo Chinyere to impact on the spiritual and physical needs of humanity especially the indigent in the society.
Earlier in his sermon, the celebrant and General Overseer of OPM, Apostle Chibuzo Chinyere who stated that he is a product of sacrifice disclosed that every proceed of gifts from God is channelled to impact on the lives of humanity while god is using the Ministry to reform so many lives through the rehabilitation of criminals, child traffickers, prostitutes, assisting indigent women deliver in comfort with modern equipment as well as offer of free Medicare and education among others.
The event which featured the launch and unveiling of the book titled “History and Development of Omega Power Ministry and cutting of the birthday cake attracted the presence of the former commissioner for Energy and Solid Minerals, Chief Asiforo Okere, top govt officials, Federal and State legislators, religious leaders captains of industry and other distinguished personalities.
