Ikpeazu Extolled Ohanze Peoples Congress For Rebuilding of Health Care Centre in Ohanze

Wife of Abia Governor Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu at the Commissioning of Ohanze Primary Health Care Centre 

Abia state Governor’s wife, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, has commissioned a modern primary health care centre built by Ohanze Peoples Congress, at Agburuke Ohanze in Obingwa Local Government Area.

At the commissioning, the Governor’s wife extolled Ohanze peoples congress for coming with the idea and executing such to the benefit of all Ohanze communities.

She promised to provide security men to help in securing the health facilities against vandals and encourage people especially women to make use of the health centre judiciously.

However, the Abia First Lady said that she will always support Ohanze congress developmental efforts and to partner with them at anytime they approach her.

In his remarks, the President of Ohanze Peoples Congress, Barrister Emeka Enwereji, said that the completion of the primary health care centre was a collective efforts and thanked all who contributed to the realisation of  the health centre.

However, he added that the health of communities within Ohanze are of paramount importance to them so that people would no longer have to go a long distance to access health care but use this one that is within their reach.

In his address, the Executive Secretary, Abia Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Chinagozie Adindu, states that before now the primary health care centre looked moribund and abandoned but thanks to the interventions of Ohanze peoples congress, at least people within these area can now access health care easily.
