Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has urged the family of Late Abraham Abel of Obichukwu communty in Isialangwa South Local Government Area of the State to take heart over the death of their father, Late Mr. Abraham Chinkere Abel, who died at 60 years.
Governor Ikpeazu made his feelings known while commiserating with the bereaved family immediately after the burial ceremony, conducted by the Christ Model Evangelical Church Incorporated in Isialangwa South Local Government Area.
The Governor, represented by his Executive Assistant and Director General, OKEZUO ABIA Campaign Organization, Elder John Nwangborogwu urged the wife of the deceased, Mrs. Bridget Chinkere to take solace in the fact that the late husband lived a life worthy of emulation.
He encouraged her to trust in the Lord God Almighty, from whom she would get help, assuring her that though her job in the family has increased as a result of death, God knows how to assist her.
The Governor , who prayed God to give her the heart to bear the loss equally encouraged her to keep on with her business so as to sustain her children.
Responding, the wife of the deceased, Mrs. Bridget Chinkere thanked the Governor for coming to identify with her in her moment of grief. She described her late husband as a wonderful companion and expressed hope that God would comfort her.
In another development, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has commiserated with the family of Late Uche Onuoha of Agbaragba community in Isialangwa South over the demise of their father, Reuben Uche Onuoha who died at 76 years.
The Governor, who spoke through his Executive Assistant and Director General, OKEZUO ABIA Campaign Organization, Elder John Nwangborogwu at the family compound, described death as a necessary end for all mortals.
He encouraged the bereaved family to rely absolutely in God, who he stressed is capable of consoling them in this moment of great grief.
Eldest son of the deceased, Mr. Oluchukwu Uche on behalf of the family, appreciated Governor Ikpeazu for coming to share in their grief and asked God to bless him.
