Earlier in his address, the Chief Executive officer, Neu-Dyx Medical and Industrial Oxygen plant, Dr. Chukwuemeka Nwakanma said that he was inspired to solve the problem of lack of oxygen in the state as a result of experience he had while working with the state emergency medical services.

According to him, “our goal is to ensure that all health care facilities in the state and beyond have enough medical oxygen supply to meet the needs of the patients and there shouldn’t be any reason why we should be losing lives in our health care facilities due to lack of oxygen” he said.

However, our plant purification columns are made of stainless steel material to ensure that oxygen is produced as per world health organization recommendation of 99.5% to 99.9% purity and we are hopeful that by lowering the cost of oxygen supply to our medical facilities it will reduce the cost burden to patients requiring such medical treatments.
