Abia state Governor’s wife, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, has been described by friends and families as a mother full of milk of human kindness as she celebrated her birthday recently at the Banquet hall of the Governor in Abia Government House, Umuahia.
Speaking at the celebration, the wife of the Deputy Governor of the state, Lady Vivian Ude Oko Chukwu, said that she is really a mother with the heart of gold.
According to Oko Chukwu, ” I said so because I have been working with her and knows her contributions towards families especially in the area of health, women and youth empowerment, housing for indigent Abians”.
She is also this kind of woman that made available whatever that is within her reach to whoever comes to her and I encourage her to keep doing her best to serve God and humanity.
While the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Chief Mrs. Ukachi Amala was of the opinion that the Governor’s wife has been supportive to see the ministry succeeds in it role, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs, Mrs. Beauty Odikwa, said she has had a robust relationship working with the Governor’s wife, and knowing her even becoming the first lady of Abia, her humility and compassion towards all that encounter her has not changed.
In his contribution, the programme manager, Abia Primary School Launch Programme, Elder Emeka Ahuruonye, stated that what impress him most about the personae of the Governor’s wife was the unique way she helps all that comes to her without discrimination and through her Vicar Hope Foundation has given succour and hope to the vulnerable in our society.
However, the Abia First Lady thanked all who came to celebrate with her, adding that she has every reason to celebrate and to give glory to God for helping her husband being nursed back to life after contracting the coronavirus disease.
