Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has sent a warm message of congratulations to the Senate Minority Leader, His Excellency, Senator Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe on the occasion of his 66th birthday today.
The Governor who described the Distinguished Senator as an elder brother and political leader, noted with delight that Senator Abaribe’s life has become synonymous with service to the people, built on solid principles, and sustained by the power of courage.
According to the Governor, “from his days as Deputy Governor of Abia State in 1999, Abaribe has carved a clear niche for himself, a niche for the relentless pursuit of the enthronement of justice and equity in our polity. A pursuit he undertakes with great courage and strong personal convictions. Till date and as Senate Minority Leader, Abaribe remains who he has always been, namely, a fearless advocate of justice and egalitarianism in public service”.
He prayed God to grant the Senator many more years ahead.
Similarly, a seasoned banker and financial guru, Chief Chukwudi Agwu also felicitated with Senator Abaribe on his birthday celebration appreciating him for his continued role as the Voice of Ndigbo, and prayed God to bless him with more fruitful years of selfless services in the struggle for the emancipation of the Igbo race.
Chief Agwu, a Havard trained financial expert, popularly known as ONWA ABIA, in a release, described the Senate Minority Whip as an astute politician, parliamentarian and administrator, who has made indelible contributions to the socio-political and economic growth of Abia and the nation at large.
The Umukabia-Ohuhu born banker and philanthropist also commended the distinguished Senator for his support to the administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, noting that the Governor has in the recent times taken Abia to the next level through Infrastructural revolution.
He lauded Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for the ongoing harvest of road commissioning tagged “KINETIC ABIA”, noting that the Governor has through his Caterpillar revolution opened Aba, the economic hub of the South East/South South geopolitical zone of Nigeria for greater economic prosperity.
