Spokesperson aspirant of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Johnmartins Ijere, on Monday paid a consultation visit to the Eastern Zone Elders Forum as part of efforts to seek support for his ambition.



Speaking during the visit, Ijere said he was prepared to serve as the spokesman of the council and pledged to represent the voice and aspirations of the Ijaw Nation if elected.
He emphasized his commitment to promoting the collective interest of the Ijaw people and strengthening communication within the council.

Responding on behalf of the forum, Chief Adokiye Tam-Micah Igbile commended Ijere for his dedication and contributions to the Ijaw cause, describing him as a promising and committed leader.

The elders offered prayers and goodwill for his aspiration and wished him success in the race for the council’s spokesperson position.
