There is hope for Nigeria with people like Lamido in PDP, saysIkpeazu.

The Governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has described Alhaji Sule Lamido as an inspiring leader and one that represents the soul of PDP.

The Governor made the Statement when he received the Former Governor of Jigawa State at the Government House, Umuahia when Alhaji Lamido and his team paid a courtesy Visit on the Governor.

The Governor commended Alhaji Lamido for his belief in oneness irrespective of religion and region.

According to him, there is no gain saying our country is on a cliff hanger threatened by all kinds of self inflicted agitations. He marveled at what happened to the string of fellowship that bind us together.

In his words ‘This country yearns for a leader that will carry everyone along irrespective of where he/she comes from. We are in dire need of people who can lead selflessly with capacity. A leader who can look around and pick the best brains to navigate the country’.

He charged PDP to start talking about the kind of leader we need, how marketable, what pedigree and how trust worthy the person is.

Earlier in his speech, Alhaji Sule Lamido said that he is in Abia State to interact with the Governor and his family PDP. According to him, events in the country have made him to go round with message of hope for Nigerians.

He frowned at the level of deceit and inabilities of the Government at the Centre to manage our human and capital resources which have brought disintegration, agitation and hunger in the country.

He commended the Governor for his giant strides in Abia and his continuous drive for patronage of made in Nigeria.

The Speaker of Abia House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Chinwendu Kalu, his Deputy Rt.Hon. Cosmos Ndukwe PhD. PDP Chairman Chief Johnson Onuigbo , Commissioners and other top government officials were at the meeting.
