The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, has been honored with a Fellowship Award, by the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN).
Speaking while receiving the fellowship Award in Abuja, the Lawmaker thanked the Institute for honoring him after series and days of intensive training.
He explained that with the wealth of experience in project management and related fields he had gotten over the years, he will assist in making sure that the Institute lives up to its mandate and Act establishing it.
The Minority Whip, promised to promote the Institute as a fellow and ensure that the statutory mandate of the body is imbibed.
Hon. Ukoha, went further to hint that considering what he has learnt during the training, he will assist the upcoming ones to be good project managers that our country will be proud of.
He thanked the management of the Institute for being constantly proactive since its establishment by an Act, in 2018.
It will be recalled that the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN), was established by an Act, No 3 of 2018, with a mandate to among other things, license all Project Management Practitioners in Nigeria; withdraw License of erring Practitioners; accredit Institutions of higher learning offering courses in Project Management leading to the award of Degree, Higher National Diploma, among others.
