Hate speech bill is dead already- Oyedepo speaks out

 

The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church world wide, Bshp David Oyedepo, has frowned at the recent ‘Hate Speech Bill’, saying it is dead already.

Bshp Oyedepo who stated this during the opening ceremony of the annual convocation of Winners family, Shiloh, held at the Faith Tabernacle, Ota, said the hate speech bill is evil, as it is a deliberate action by our leaders to put Nigerians in bondage.

The cleric said the present state of the country calls for worry and wondered why the government would come up with a bill that penalizes anyone caught talking about their incapabilities, stating that it is totally unacceptable.

Oyedepo said Nigeria has not recorded any meaningful development for some time, as the infrastructure on ground have all gone bad.

He went further to state that the government in a bid to cover up their ill performances, came up with the hate speech bill to keep Nigerians mute.

The bishop said never will such a bill stand, describing it as wickedness of the wicked.

Oyedepo, however, said he is a prophet of God that convene message from God to the people, stressing that the hate speech bill will not help Nigerians but put them in perpetual bondage.

He urged christians to use the period of Shiloh to pray for Nigeria.
