Apumiri Ubakala Police Station in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia state, has come under attack by unknown gunmen in the early hours of Monday 17 th of May.
Based on the information available to our Abia Correspondent, the attack took place between the hours of 1-2 am today.
As at the time of filing this report, no information on casualties.
Recall that Abia is one of the states in the South East that is being terrorized by unknown gunmen.Recently, the attacks on police stations, as well as public facilities have been on the increase.
Few days ago, Bende Police station was razed down outside the recent attack on Uzuakoli police station, where dynamite and rocket launcher was used to burn the station down.Ubani Market police station, was not also left out, as it was attacked exactly one week ago.
INEC office in Ohafia Local Government Area was also razed down fourth night ago.
