Part of the communique reads: “we received with deep shock and disbelief the poorly stage managed comic video making the rounds which purport to have caught Mr Felix Obisike with a single typed INEC result sheets which was intended for use in the earlier scheduled February 16th, 2019 presidential and National Assembly 2019elections.

“To set the records straight, that was just a make believe from the real issue is abduction by the producers of the stage managed comic video.

“The truth remains that Mr Felix Obisike is a victim of vendetta with the aim of blackmailing him and by extension the Abia State N-Power beneficiaries rho score cheap political points.

“Felix is a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nigeria operates a constitutional democratic system of government. Even if he has committed an offence, he should be taken to court and made to stand trial. At the end of the day,if the court convicts him, then he can stand in for it.

“We don’t see any reason he should be detained without any charge preferred on him.He has a right to free and fair hearing. It is only the court that can pronounce him guilty.

The group also called on the security agencies to unviell the identities of those behind the purported video, saying “they should be made to face justice for abduction and misrepresentation of facts on the issue and for misleading unsuspecting members of the public”.
