Senator Bassey Otu and Pastor Umo Eno of Cross River and Akwa Ibom states, respectively attended the Episcopal Ordination of the Auxiliary Bishop of Calabar, Reverend Christopher Naseri.
The ceremony, which was held at the St. Paul’s Catholic church, University of Calabar ( UNICAL), marks the first official meeting of the two governors since their inauguration on the May 29, 2023.
Speaking during the occasion, the Governor of Cross River State said, the ceremony is a spiritual refreshment to usher in long awaited sweetness and happy moments to all.
He said that the coming together of the Governor of Akwa Ibom state and himself, is the beginning of sweetness and happy moments that will exist between the two states.
However,the two governors were seen exchanged pleasantries after the church ceremony.
