Following the full mobilization and return to site by contractors, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu will commence the inspection of all on going road project sites in the State from Wednesday, 2nd February, 2022.
According to a release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Onyebuchi Ememanka, “contractors handling these projects are by these announcement put on notice to get ready to receive the Governor’s Monitoring Team and must be prepared to provide clear updates and completion timelines for all their projects.
“Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has expressed disappointment with the slow pace of work on Faulks Road and has ordered a change in the Technical team at that project site with immediate effect. This change must manifest in accelerated activity within the next 7 days at Faulks Road.
“The Honorable Commissioner for Works, staff of the Ministry and all concerned with the Faulks Road project are to be guided accordingly”, the statement concludes.
