Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the appointment of Barr. Chris Ezem as the Secretary to the State Government.
Former Chief Press secretary to the governor, Enyinnaya Appolos is to serve as the Special Adviser to the Governor on media.
A release signed by the Permanent Secretary Government House Umuahia,Elder Bernard Ogbonna, further reveals that governor Ikpeazu also approved the appointment of Barr. Onyebuchi Ememanka as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor while Ngozi Ogbonna-Erondu is to serve as Special Adviser on Diaspora Matters.
According to the release,the Governor also forwarded the name of Chief John Okiyi Kalu to the Abia State House of Assembly for confirmation as Commissioner.
