Gov Otti Reaffirms Commitment To Private Sector Partnerships For Abia’s Development

 

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships with the private sector to drive projects that deliver mutual benefits and promote sustainable development across the state.

 

Governor Otti, stated this at his country home in Nvosi, Isialangwa South Local Government Area, while receiving a delegation led by the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of First Bank Nigeria, Olusegun Alebiosu, who came to discuss potential areas of collaboration aimed at contributing to the success story of the State.

The Governor enjoined the Bank to explore areas of collaboration with the State and assured them of the State’s readiness to partner with the private sector on projects of mutual benefit.

 

Earlier, in his remarks, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of First Bank Nigeria PLC Mr Olusegun Alebiosu described Governor Otti as a mentor who is always willing to share his wealth of knowledge and skills with those that grew under him during his banking years.

He expressed excitement at the level of transformation and development in Umuahia the state capital adding that he would also lead his team to Aba, the economic hub center to see for themselves the level of Infrastructural turn around as being reported in various media Platforms across the country.

Mr Alebiosu thanked Governor Alex Otti for being a good Ambassador of the Banking Industry and assured of the willingness of his bank to partner the state and be part of the state’s success story.
