Gov Ikpeazu’s Aide marks Gov’s birthday with the visually imparied

Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Students Affairs ,Comrade Chibuzor Ndom has distributed various household items and cash to the School of the blind Afaraukwu, in commemoration of the 54th birthday Anniversary of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Presenting the items to the school Management ,Comrade Ndom said
that the gesture is aimed at giving the less-priviledged a sense of belonging.

Comrade Ndom while noting that the Ikpeazu administration is committed to prioritizing their welfare of the physically challenged in the society, promised to take the challenges facing the school to the Governor for immediate action,adding that the welfare of the students will improve.

Ndom who further assured the students that their welfare will improve,said the school remains the best place to celebrate the Governor’s birthday.

He urged them to put their trust solely in God who he said, has all it takes to rewrite their stories.

In his speech a member of the delegation and Abuja-based legal practitioner, Mr Osaka Ogala who was touched by the pathetic condition of the students, also made a pledge of thirty thousand naira to the students.

Principal of the School, Mrs Ngozi Olugu in her response, thanked Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for building a school Hostel for them as well as the wife of the Governor, Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu for rebuilding their fallen fence and wished the Governor a blissful celebration.
