Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has congratulated the players and management of Enyimba International Football Club of Aba for their win over Cara Brazzaville at the CAF Confederation Cup match-day-six Group C clash at the Enyimba International Stadium Aba.
The Governor who was elated at the hard fought victory, after Enyimba’s first game at their newly renovated home Stadium, said the win is “cheery and proof that the people’s Elephants are really back home”.
Governor Ikpeazu, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos, said the win is not just an encouragement to do more for Sports but also a welcome development to the supportive fans, Abians and Nigerians at large.
