GOV IKPEAZU CONDOLES WITH EGBEOGU ON WIFE DEATH

 

Abia state governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has commiserated with the family of Hon, Sir Dan Egbogu on the death of his wife, late Lady Benedicta Ihuoma Egbogu.

Speaking during a condolence visit at the Egbogu’s country’s home in Okwuta Isieke Ibeku, Umuahia North,LGA, Dr Ikpeazu said that he was saddened by the sudden demise of the deceased, who was known to be full of life.

Represented by his deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, he reminded all that death can come at any time without the knowledge and consent of man who does not know the time or hour or how.

He said that death was beyond the knowledge of man who has no control over it as man can die anytime and described death as a mystery that surpasses human being.

The governor therefore consoled and urged the Egbogus to take heart as there are nothing anyone can do to prevent the death of his beloved one and appealed to him to take heart.

He reminded all to appreciate that every gift comes from God who can take it at will without consulting man and that death doesn’t mean the end and therefore pray God to grant her soul and the souls of other faithfuls an eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord.

Responding, the Chief mourner and the immediate past Chairman, Local government service commission, Sir Dan Egbogu thanked the governor through his deputy for the visit and the words of encouragement from him and other well meaning Abians which he said have help him to overcome the grief and in that knowing he is not alone at this great moment of trial.
