Gov. Ikpeazu call for support through prayers

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has called for concerted prayers from Religious leaders and christians in the state to enable him consolidate on actualizing his lofty programmes .

Dr. Ikpeazu who made the call during the Thanksgiving service of the Glorious Life Gospel Centre, A.K.A Peculiar People Ministries, No. 2 Alex Onyedor Close / Ikot Ekpene Road Aba, as part of activities marking the end of the 2019 Glory Summit, pointed out that his government could not have achieved much in uplifting the status of the state, but for the fervent prayers and partnership he enjoys from the church , promising to sustain it.

The governor ,represented by his deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu,used the forum to reassure Abians that the present administration will pursue with more vigour towards realising projects targeted at generating about 70,000 jobs thereby improving the economy and addressing the rate of unemployment among youths in the state.

He appreciated the minister in charge of Glorious Life Gospel Centre, Bishop Goddy Okafor, for not only partnering with the state government on how Abia can be taken to greater height , but remaining a committed Shepherd that is genuinely committed to the spiritual needs of his members and the state at large and congratulated them on the successful hosting of the 2019 Glory Summit.

In his sermon earlier, the presiding Minister of Glorious Life Gospel Centre, Bishop Goddy Okafor, stated that the glory of God is the manifest presence and power of God at work in the life of a born again Christian and advised Christians to always take advantage of the heritage they derive in Jesus Christ which performs exploits .
