Gov Fubara Felicitates Rivers Residents at Easter, Urges Unity, Sacrifice

The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has extended warm Easter greetings to the people and residents of the state, urging them to imbibe the virtues of sacrifice, reconciliation, and unity as Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In a goodwill message to commemorate the Easter celebration, the governor called on residents to reflect on the significance of the season and emulate the example of Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice on the Cross brought forgiveness and reconciliation to mankind.

Governor Fubara described Easter as a sacred season that calls for the promotion of peace, unity, and love among citizens.

He prayed that the Easter season would bring renewed hope, joy, and spiritual renewal to Rivers State and Nigeria at large.

According to him, the resurrection of Jesus Christ symbolizes hope, renewal, and triumph over adversity, adding that the season should inspire people to embrace the values of love, compassion, and forgiveness.

The governor expressed optimism that these virtues would guide the people in building a more united and prosperous Rivers State.

Governor Fubara also commended the resilience of the Christian community and reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering good governance and improving the welfare of all residents of the state.

He encouraged the people to continue supporting his administration as well as the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that meaningful progress can only be achieved through collective effort and unity of purpose.
