Gospel ministers urged to promote praise, worship

 

The wife of Abia State Governor Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu has urged ministers of the gospel to encourage praise and worship activities in the church as it draws the heart of congregation closer to God.

Mrs. Ikpeazu gave the charge today at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Umuocham Aba in Abia State during the church 2018 choir day tagged “Good news of God’s grace”.
According to her, “God has so much grace, it is therefore left to us to choose whether we want to assess God’s grace or to live on our own”.

However the Governor’s wife also thanked the church for their support since the inception of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu*s administration in Abia State.

In a sermon, Pastor of the church, Mr. Onwutuebe Nwokedi said that the good news is that Jesus Christ is coming again and by his grace through faith in him, anyone who persist with his good work shall find his mercy.

Pastor Onwutuebe charged all who are here to experience God’s grace through today’s song ministrations be prepared for eternity.

In his remarks, the church choir chairman, Mr. Andrew Onumaegbu said that while we worship God in the beauty of His Holiness through these ministrations, it is also a time for us to raise money from our well wishers to complete our personage which started years ago.
