Contractors handling various road projects in the state have been ordered by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to return fully to site and expeditiously ensure the completion of those projects.
Road projects under this category include the Osisioma Flyover Project, Ururuka Road, Osusu Road Aba , Aba Road Umuahia, Afor Ibeji Road Umuahia, the Osisioma – Ekeakpara road, Aba Owerri Road, among others.
The Governor in a release made available to newsmen by his Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka noted that with the abatement of the unusually heavy rains witnessed this year and with substantial provision made for funding, the contractors have no reason to delay any project.
Governor Ikpeazu further directed the Honorable Commissioner for Works to ensure that the OPERATION ZERO POTHOLE in Aba and Umuahia resumes fully.
