Go and collect your PVCs now: Nwosu urges Abians

Abians have been admonished to go and collect their permanent voters card in preparation for the forth coming 2019 elections.

This was said by the state chairman social democratic party, Honourable Chidi Nwosu on the occasion of the state flag off campaign of the Social democratic party held at Aba road opposite the Madonna Hospital umuahia Abia State .

The chairman lamented on the issue of bad governance, under development and the need for a change in the governing of the affairs of the state. He said according to the just concluded debate of the house of representatives, people could agree that the social democratic party is presenting Firebrand candidates.

Honourable Nwosu mandated the candidates to show strength like the energetic horse and while campaigning through the constituency to ensure it be void of violence, acrimonies, thuggery and act capable of bringing the Party to disrepute.

Speaking on the tussle on who holds the presidential ticket, he revealed that the matter would be over this week, as it had come to an amicable resolution, noting that the name of the presidential candidate of the social democratic party would return to the ballot.

Speaking at the rally, the SDP governorship candidate Blessing Nwagba spoke on the need for a paradigm shift and better governance abia State.

Likewise she encouraged Abians to collect their PVCs and cast their votes wisely.
She spoke on the gender sensitivity of the party and called on women to show support as the party understands the role of women in nation building while calling on the youths to join the new force and become wheel of change.

Meanwhile representative of the state Party chairman, Honorable Iyke Osondo while presenting the flag to the governorship candidate of the Party,prayed that the people in the would be liberated through the social democratic party.
