Grassroots Development Initiative (GDI) has declared support for Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
The Coordinator of the group, Hon. Kinikanwo Amadi who disclosed this to newsmen yesterday, expressed confidence in Governor Fubara’s capabilities and capacity.
In his words: “We stand by Gov. Sim Fubara despite several distractions from many quarters”.
He added that they recognize Gov. Fubara’s positive impact on Port Harcourt City Local Government and beyond, hence, the need to pass the vote of confidence on his administration.
Contributing, a pioneer stakeholder of GDI, Hon. Charles Orlu, commended the group’s support for Governor Fubara, eulogising his simplicity and youth-friendly leadership style.
Grassroots Development Intitaitive was founded in 2012 with the immediate past Governor of Rivers state Chief Nyesom Wike as patron.
