Free CAC Registration: Abia Focal Person Hails Initiative, Saddened At Slow Pace of Collection

The Abia State focal person on social investment programme, Mr. Chinenye Nwaogu has extolled the federal/state government’s initiative in the issuance of free Corporate Affairs Certificate (CAC) to business enterprises under the survival fund programme, explaining that it was one of the major means of cushioning the devastating effect the Covid had on Businesses, but however frowned at the lack lustre attitude of beneficiaries towards the collection of their certificates, describing such attitude as a gross display of insensitivity and ignorance.

Mr. Nwaogu made his feelings known when he featured at a BCA live interactive programme, KOTA SIGN, anchored by Doc. He used the occasion to commend the supportive roles of the Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and his amiable wife, Dr. Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu which accounts for the huge successes the State has recorded in the smooth administration and Implementation of all Pro poor programmes in the State, and gave a pat on the back to members of his staff for their hard work, dedication and transparency, insisting that all programmes under his watch are accessed Free of charge.

Mr. Nwaogu then called on journalists and other Media practitioners to assist in educating, publicising and acquainting the general public, especially those in the rural areas of the numerous programmes under the social investment programme office of the State, while assuring that his office will continue to avail itself of other Media platforms to reach out to the targeted abians, and Expressed satisfaction at the huge impact the programmes have had on Abians.
