Copper Queens of Zambia have been eliminated from the ongoing World Cup after losing their first two matches. Zambia, moments ago, lost 5-0 to Spain – the same scoreline with which they lost to Japan in their opening match.
Jenni Hermoso and Alba Redondo scored twice while Teresa Abelleira grabbed a goal as the Europeans whitewashed the Africans and announced to the world that they too are title contenders.
Spain will take on Japan on Monday to determine who will win the group while Costa Rica will take on Zambia as both team search for their first goal in an inconsequential match.
