South American super power Brazil thrashed debutants Panama 4-0 in their opening Group F encounter.

Ary Borges scored a brace in the first half to give Brazil a comfortable lead before the break.

Bia Zaneratto scored Brazil’s third goal early in the second half before Borges put the icing on the cake and complete her hat-trick.

Brazil lead Group F with three points followed by France and Jamaica, who drew their match yesterday, with one point respectively. While Panama are fourth with no point.
