FIFA U-20 WORLD CUP: Senegal Qualify For Round of 16 as Nigeria Tackle USA

Senegal have qualified for the round of 16 of the on-going FIFA U-20 World Cup after they defeated Colombia 2-0 in their second group match.

The young Teranga Lions converted two penalties to take their total points to six as they had earlier thrashed Tahiti 3-0 in their first match.

Italy have also booked their place for the round of 16 after defeating Ecuador by a lone goal. They had earlier defeated Mexico in their first match.

Today’s action will see the Flying Eagles of Nigeria, who are still basking in the euphoria of their 4-0 bashing of Qatar take on the United States of America.

A victory for the Africans will see them qualify for the round of 16. But the Americans will not want to lose their second match after they lost their opening game to Ukraine.

The other match of the group will be between Qatar and Ukraine.

Still today, Honduras will tackle Uruguay while Norway and New Zealand will lurk horns.
