European Champions Real Madrid won their third FIFA Club World Cup title and their fourth over all when they thrashed host club Al-Ain 4-1.
World Footballer of the year and Ballon d’Or winner, Luka Modric opened scoring for the Los Blancos on the 14th minute. Marcos Llorente and captain, Sergio Ramos scored two second half goals to seal their victory.
However, Al-Ain pulled one back before conceding an own goal that saw their fairytale run in this tournament come to an end with a 4-1 defeat.
