The Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna will be set agog on Sunday, when last season’s losing finalists, Kano Pillars will take on Niger Tornadoes in the finals of the Alteo Federation Cup.
Pillars threw away a 3-0 lead to lose on penalties to Enugu Rangers in the 2018 finals while Niger Tornadoes lost the 2017 edition to Akwa United.
To qualify for this final, Niger Tornadoes defeated Rivers United 2-1 the same score line with which Kano Pillars defeated Calabar Rovers.
