Fed Lawmaker, Nkwonta Felicitates Christians At Christmas

The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on South-East Development Commission (SEDC), Hon. Chris Nkwonta has felicitated Christian faithfuls on Christmas, urging them to show more resilience and commitment towards building a better nation.

In a Press Release from his office and personally signed by the Head, Communications and Media Relations, Dr. Chidi Nwankpa and made available to newsmen, Nkwonta also enjoined Christians to continuously pray for the peace, unity, security and prosperity of Nigeria as no sustainable development can take place in a crisis prone environment.

Nkwonta who also acknowledged the economic hardship Nigerians are facing, urged his constituents not to despair, maintaining that things will only get better for all in due course.

He called on Christians to emulate the selfless lifestyle of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and reach out to the less privileged, show them love and give them a sense of belonging.

The lawmaker representing Ukwa East/West Federal Constituency in National Assembly Abuja, further thanked his constituents for the confidence reposed in him, assuring them that he would continue to use everything at his disposal to attract democracy dividends to the people.
