The Abia state Commissioner for Environment, Dr Aham Uko has maintained that Ndigbo should not joke with the Atiku/Obi Presidential bid,as it is the only option for ndigbo to come out of marginalization, discrimination that has confronted the zone.
The Commissioner who stated this while addressing newsmen in Umuahia during the Umuahia North PDP campaign rally said, the Southeast zone should not be deceived by the 2023 Presidential slot, revealing that there is an under cover plot already to shift power to the people of the west.
Dr Uko went further to say that having suffered set back in the development of the Southeast under the watch of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the People’s Democratic Party (PDP),should be allowed to come on board, for the purpose of restructuring.
He said any right thinking Igbo man should reject the APC and their deceit and unequivocally vote PDP come February and March polls to end hunger, incessant killings, economic set back as well as insecurity that have ravaged the nation in recent times.
Reacting to the question on a rotational leadership style that is being practised in Abia state, Dr Uko said after the first round of rotational system,Abians should be allowed to choose the best candidate, regardless of the zone one is from,adding that the charter of equity should be laid to rest after the tenure of Dr Okezie Ikpeazu,the incumbent governor.
The Environment boss further advised Abians not to be carried away by any financial incentives offered to them by politicians during the elections, but should go ahead and vote their conscience.
