The Member representing Eket/ONNA/Eket/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, has reacted to the appointment of Dr Udo Samuel Atang as the Head of Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory Authority (FCTA).
Atang’s appointment by President Bola Tinubu has made him the pioneer Head of Civil Service of the FCTA.
In a statement on Wednesday, Etteh who is a PDP Lawmaker lauded President Tinubu for appointing his Constituent (Atang) to head the service expressing hope that he would deploy his wealth of experience and expertise towards the growth of the commission.
According to the statement, “The appointment of Dr Atang to the prestigious position is a testament to his exceptional dedication, professionalism, and leadership qualities. It is the handiwork of God.”
He maintained that the “extensive experience and proven track record of Dr Atang in public service make him eminently qualified for this significant role. I have full confidence that under his guidance, the FCTA will continue to uphold the highest standards of efficiency, transparency, and accountability, thereby contributing to the overall development and prosperity of our beloved nation.”
