There is an ongoing plot to impeach the serving Governor of Rivers State, H.E Sir Simnalayi Fubara GSSRS.
Already, signatures are being collected from the State House of Assembly members clandestinely to meet the mandatory number required for the impeachment of a Governor in Nigeria.
Undisclosed sources say it is the handiwork of his predecessor who is desirous to whip the state into his perpetual control. The said plot is thickening by the day as plans have been concluded to impeach the former deputy speaker and incumbent leader of the house Rt. Hon. Ehie Edison.
However, political pundits have dismissed the said allegation that it is the myopic thinking of the opposition intended to cause disaffection and derail the purpose- driven governance already being enjoyed by the Rivers people under Wike’s prodigy.
