“Expect Positive Changes This Year,” Abia Speaker Tells Constituents in Nnentu

Abia State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa has urged his constituents and Christian faithful to be steadfast in their faith in God with a view that all their positive expectations shall come to pass.

Emeruwa who stated this during his visit to St. Gabriel Catholic Church and Apostolic Christian Church Mission (ACCM), all in Nnentu in Aba South Local Government Area, as part of his community engagements and spiritual enrichment told congregants this year would bring better fortunes to them and enjoined to anchor their faith in God who does not fail.

He, however, noted that his visit was not only a show to his commitment to faith but also an opportunity to connect with the community and address pressing and critical issues.

While at ACCM Nnetu, Emeruwa expressed his gratitude to the congregation for their loyalty and consistency to supporting the ruling Labour Party (LP)in the State and further encouraged the church members to remain steadfast in their faith, assuring them that this year would bring good tidings to them.

The number three citizen of the State, also addressed the ongoing crisis within ACCM Church, urging the Nnetu branch to remain neutral and not get entangled in the conflict and reassured them that the crisis would soon be resolved.

The Abia Assembly Speaker, therefore, promised the congregation that the right thing would be done in terms of filling the Bishopric position which is through succession rather than any other chaotic means hence the congregation applauded his speech.

Rt.Hon. Emeruwa, further, urged his constituents to be patient with the administration of Governor Alex Chioma Otti and promised that he will complete the long-awaited Obohia road project, along with other critical roads in the region noting that the infrastructural development would bring relief and economic growth to the area.
