“Death for all mortals is a certainty but our problem is usually to determine who and when.

“At a time like this, when one is usually drawn into sober reflection on the certainty of death as the ultimate end of all mortals, one is consoled and is challenged by the words of Paul in the books of 2nd Timothy where Paul himself declared that he has ran a good race, fought a good fight and all that is left is a crown of glory which only God, the righteous God can give.

“The impetus of this challenge is drawn also from the book of Numbers 23, when the bible declared that God is not man that He should lie. So when God has promised a crown of Glory for the righteous, it is certain that it will come.

“Death has no meaning apart from the fact that it symbolizes the power and ultimate authority of God over all that was created by him”.

Governor Ikpeazu therefore urged the Wabara family to take solace in the fact that the death of Elder Mrs Felicia Wabara has been ordained by God and draw lessons from it especially in moments of sober reflections.
