Ex-Agitator Alleges Plans To Invade Ogoni By Gangsters

An ex- agitator in the Niger Delta, Solomon Ndigbara has raised an alarm over an alleged plan by gang members to invade Yaga community in Gokana Local Government Area in Rivers State.

 

Mr Solomon Ndigbara who is an indigine of Yaga told our reporter that some gang groups are planning to wear army camouflage to attack the community.

 

He called on the local authorities in Yaga to set up a vigilante group to work with security agencies in order to prevent any form of attack.

 

He further said that, because the bad boys knows that he always welcome and assist security agents that comes to Ogoni land for investigation, they have now bought army and other security agents uniforms. With the hope of wearing it to Yege community, for him to think that they are government agents, so that they can attack him when he comes out as usual and finally invade the whole Yege community.

The ex- agitator however call on the security agents to be alert and if they get any suspect in Yege, they should contact their Paramount ruler for proper identification.

 

Solomon Ndigbara also called on the Rivers State government and the security agents to investigate the allegation and insure that those behind the alleged plans are arrested and prosecuted.

 

Mr Ndigbara further appealed to the security agencies not to be offended whenever he didn’t come out when they are around. Because he wants to secure his life.

Mr Ndigbara further stressed the need for the Federal Government, State Government and the security agency to investigate the matter and stop the criminals from destroying Ogoni land.
