Chelsea and Arsenal booked their place for the last eight of this season’s Europa League in style. Oliver Giroud scored a hat-trick as the Blues demolished Dynamo Kiev 5-0 to qualify with an 8-0 aggregate score.
Another English side, Arsenal defeated Rennes of France 3-0 to qualify on a 4-3 aggregate score after the first leg had ended 3-1 in favour of the French side.
Other clubs that qualified are Napoli, Valencia, Benfica. Frankfurt, Slavia Prague and Villareal.
