Defending champions, Manchester City return to the top of the English Premier League table with a lone goal victory over Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium.
It was their captain, Vincent Kompany, scored the only goal of the match on the 70th minute with a spectacular 25 yard shot that arrowed into the top corner of the net.
It was all the home side needed to get all three points that returned them to the top.
The only needed to win their last match on Sunday against Brighton at the Amex Stadium to successfully defend their title.
