EPL UPDATE: Gunners Gun down Chelsea

Arsenal kept their hope of a top four finish alive with an emphatic 2-0 win over Chelsea in the London Derby at the Emirate Stadium.

Lacazette and Koscielny scored in the first half to cut Chelsea’s lead to three points and displace Manchester United in the fifth place.

Chelsea need for a hit man was very obvious as they could not create clear cut chances in open play.

Alex Iwobi  substituted Lacazette on the 68th minute.

Earlier, Manchester United temporarily moved to fifth place after they defeated Leon Balogun’s Brighton 2-1.

In a dramatic seven goals thriller Wolves devoured Leicester City 4-3 while Bournemouth hammered West Ham 2-0.

Liverpool turned the heat on Manchester City, who play tomorrow, with a hard earned 4-3 victory over Crystal Palace.

Newcastle United crushed Cardiff City 3-0 as Southampton had a 2-1 victory over Everton. Watford and Burnley ended their encounter goalless.
